Booking Policy

Lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate equipment for video calling (webcam and possibly an headset with microphone) and a reasonably capable internet connection - please see Hangouts - minimum requirements

We recommend that you test your internet connection using Ookla Speed Test - please note that your internet connection capacity can change during the day, especially at peak times.

To take full advantage of what World English has to offer, it is necessary to have a Google account. If you do not already have a Google account, you can either create a new GMail account or register an existing email address as a Google account .

Trial lessons

We are currently offering 30 minute trial lessons at the introductory price of £5 - only one trial lesson per student please.

These are meant to provide a demonstration of what we offer, to discuss your needs and requirements, test your English level and come with absolutely no commitment to purchase further lessons.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons can be cancelled with at least 48 hours notice, in which case a full refund for the price of the lesson will be issued. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or lessons where the student fails to attend, will be charged in full.

In the event of technical problems during the lesson, we will issue a full or partial refund for the price of the lesson or reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time at our discretion. If the problem is on our side or if we have to cancel a lesson for any reason, this will entitle you to a full refund for the price of the lesson.
